Abstract

In the twenty-first century education, technology plays a major role in learning and teaching. The scientific inventions that have given the world and the tools that have been developed have revolutionized the field of information technology. Information technology has grown into a strangely powerful force that can encompass the vast universe on a computer and instantly communicate humanity's feelings with a single finger. It would not be an exaggeration if the computer is a scientific instrument that brings this strange and wonderful world to the fore. In today's globalized environment, computer plays a major role in providing quality education from elementary to higher education to the young generation to compete with the world.

            இருபத்தொராம் நூற்றாண்டில் கல்வியானது, கற்றல் - கற்பித்தலில் தொழில்நுட்பம் பெரும்பங்கு வகிக்கிறது. இந்த உலகத்திற்கு வழங்கிய அறிவியல் கண்டுபிடிப்புகள், அதனால் உருவாக்கப்பட்ட கருவிகள் தகவல்தொழில்நுட்பத் துறையில் புரட்சியையே செய்திருக்கின்றன. தொழில்நுட்பமானது, விரிந்துள்ள அண்டத்தைக் கைக்கணினியில் உள்ளடக்கி ஒற்றை விரலால் மனிதகுலத்தின் உணர்வுகளை உடனுக்குடன் பரிமாறிக் கொள்ளும் விந்தையான ஆற்றல் வாய்ந்த சக்தியாக வளர்த்துள்ளது தகவல் தொழில்நுட்பம். இவ்விந்தையான வியப்பான உலகைக் கண்முன் கொண்டு வருவது கணினி என்ற அறிவியல் கருவிதான் என்றால் அது மிகையாகாது. இன்றைய உலகமயமாதல் சூழலில் வளரும் இளம் தலைமுறையினரை உலகத்தாரோடு போட்டியிடும் அளவிற்குத் தொடக்க நிலை முதல் உயர் கல்வி வரை தரமான கல்வியை வழங்குவதில் கணினி மிகப்பெரிய பங்காற்றுகிறது.
