Mount Kailash, the abode of Shiva, who is beyond comprehension and attainment by the world, is the embodiment of His immense, selfless grace towards all living beings, acquiring divine grace. It shines with the glory of being the seat of the Lord with the Goddess, and it is of pure white hue. Upamanyu Muni meditated upon Lord Shiva, the Consort crowned with the evening crescent. As he clarified to the sages that Vantondar Perunthagai Sundaramurthy Nayanar, who appeared in South India by the grace of God, was ascending to Mount Kailash, both hands of Upamanyu Muni rose above his head.This article aims to explore in detail how the 63 Nayanmars, through various paths, manifested the birthless Lord Shiva, what the special qualities of the devotees are, and what kind of principles they followed.
