Abstract

This research paper provides a comprehensive astrological analysis of how the positions, significations (karakatwas), and house connections of the Moon and Venus determine "Pravasa Yoga" (Foreign Travel Yoga) in the horoscopes of those working or settling abroad. Based on the rules of foundational astrological texts such as Brihat Parashara Hora Shastra and Phaladeepika, this study analyzes the significance of the 9th and 12th houses, the influence of Rahu, and the importance of Movable Signs in relation to foreign travel.

The study validates that the weakening (affliction) of the 4th house combined with the strengthening of the 12th house is what drives an individual to leave their homeland for a foreign country. Through two detailed case studies, the paper practically demonstrates how planetary periods (Dasha-Bhukti) and transits facilitate international relocation at the appropriate time.
