Science textbooks are fundamental to the intellectual development of students and the technological advancement of the nation. However, science textbooks are often written in English and then translated into Tamil. This translation creates several problems. In particular, the structure of the subject matter, difficulties in understanding technical terms, and differences between teachers and students are important issues. The aim of this article is to explore these problems and propose solutions to them.
