Divided into Akam (inner experiences) and Puram (outer experiences), the Sangam poems intricately describe human emotions, still captivating us today. Encompassing all virtues, such as love, valor, generosity, and justice, Sangam literature presents the life of the Tamils before our very eyes. In particular, the descriptions of nature found in Sangam literature exemplify the environmental awareness and connection with nature of the people of that era.

Furthermore, while preserving the uniqueness of the Tamil language, it is also necessary to adapt it to modern times. Efforts such as creating new words and designing Tamil fonts suitable for technological applications will contribute to the development of the Tamil language.
