தமிழ்மணம் இதழின் முதன்மை நோக்கம், உலகளாவிய தமிழ் ஆய்வு அறிவை அனைவருக்கும் எளிதில் கிடைக்கச் செய்வதே ஆகும். தரமான தமிழ் மற்றும் பன்மொழி ஆய்வுக் கட்டுரைகளை வெளியிடுவதன் மூலம், உலகெங்கிலும் உள்ள ஆய்வாளர்கள், மாணவர்கள் மற்றும் தமிழ் ஆர்வலர்களுக்கு ஒரு பகிரப்பட்ட ஆய்வுவெளியீட்டு உருவாக்குவதே எங்களின் குறிக்கோள். தமிழ் ஆய்வின் பரப்பை விரிவுபடுத்துவதும், புதிய கண்டுபிடிப்புகளை ஊக்குவிப்பதும் எங்களின் முக்கிய இலக்குகளாகும்.

நாட்டுப்புறவியல் மற்றும் தொல்லியல்: தமிழ் மக்களின் நாட்டுப்புறக் கலைகள், பாரம்பரியங்கள், சடங்குகள், தொல்லியல் கண்டுபிடிப்புகள், கல்வெட்டுகள் மற்றும் வரலாற்றாய்வுகள்.
தமிழ் இயற்கை மொழிச் செயலாக்கம் (Tamil Natural Language Processing – NLP): கணினி மொழியியல், தமிழ் மென்பொருள் உருவாக்கம், மொழித் தொழில்நுட்பம், செயற்கை நுண்ணறிவு பயன்பாடுகள்.
அறிவியல் மற்றும் தொழில்நுட்பத்தில் தமிழ்: அறிவியல் கருத்துக்களைத் தமிழில் பகிர்தல், தமிழ்வழிக் கல்வி, அறிவியல் வரலாறு.
