Is Tamilmanam peer reviewed?
Yes. Every research article goes through double-blind peer review by at least 2 independent reviewers before publication.
Is the journal open access?
Yes. All articles are free to read and download immediately on publication, with no registration, under the CC BY 4.0 licence.
How much does it cost to publish?
Submission is free. The article processing charge is INR 1,000, requested only after a manuscript is accepted.
In which languages can I publish?
Articles are published in Tamil and English, with titles, abstracts and keywords in both Tamil and English.
How do I submit a manuscript?
Prepare your manuscript in Unicode Tamil or English (.docx) following the Author Guidelines, then submit it through the online submission form. You receive an Article ID immediately.
How long does review take?
The typical time to a first decision is 1 week.
How can I track my manuscript?
Use the tracking page with your Article ID and e-mail address, or open your author workspace from the link in your confirmation e-mail.
What is the ISSN of the journal?
ISSN 3049-0723 (Online), ISSN 3107-7781 (Print).
Who owns the copyright?
Authors keep the copyright of their articles and grant the journal the right of first publication.
