Archiving Policy

Tamilmanam International Research Journal of Tamil Studies is committed to preserving all published scholarly content and ensuring its continued accessibility to authors, researchers, libraries, and readers.
The journal maintains digital backups of published articles, metadata, and essential journal records to protect against data loss, technical failure, or other unforeseen events.
All published articles are assigned a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) to provide persistent identification and facilitate long-term access.
The journal preserves the Version of Record of each published article, including the article file, author information, abstract, keywords, references, DOI, and publication details.
If the journal website, hosting provider, or publishing platform changes, reasonable measures will be taken to preserve published content and maintain working links and DOI access.

Corrections and retractions, where applicable, will be clearly identified and linked to the original publication to maintain the integrity of the scholarly record.

The journal intends to use recognized digital preservation and archiving services such as LOCKSS, CLOCKSS, Portico, institutional repositories, or other established preservation services, where eligible and technically feasible.
Tamilmanam is committed to maintaining the long-term availability, authenticity, and integrity of its published scholarly record.
