தமிழ்மணம் இதழுக்குக் கட்டுரையைத் தயாரிக்கும் முறை. இவ்வழிகாட்டுதல்களைப் பின்பற்றினால் மதிப்பாய்வும் வெளியீடும் விரைவாகும்.

How to prepare your manuscript for Tamilmanam. Following these guidelines speeds up review and publication.

கட்டுரை வகைகள்Article types

ஆய்வுக் கட்டுரைகள், மீளாய்வுக் கட்டுரைகள், சுருக்க ஆய்வுக் குறிப்புகள், பாட ஆய்வுகளும் பதிப்பாய்வுகளும், திறனாய்வு முன்னுரையுடன் கூடிய மொழிபெயர்ப்புகள், நூல் மதிப்புரைகள், குறிப்புகள். வெளியிடும் துறைகளுக்குக் காண்க: நோக்கமும் எல்லையும்.

மொழியும் எழுத்துருவும்Language and script

கட்டுரைகளைத் தமிழிலோ ஆங்கிலத்திலோ எழுதலாம். தலைப்பு, ஆய்வுச் சுருக்கம், திறவுச் சொற்கள் தமிழிலும் ஆங்கிலத்திலும் தரப்பட வேண்டும். லதா, விஜயா, நோட்டோ சான்ஸ் தமிழ், முக்தா மலர் போன்ற ஒருங்குறி (Unicode) எழுத்துருவில் தமிழைத் தட்டச்சு செய்யுங்கள்; பாமினி, TSCII போன்ற பழைய எழுத்துருக்களில் உள்ள உரையைச் சமர்ப்பிப்புப் படிவம் ஒருங்குறிக்கு மாற்றும் – ஆனால் முன்னோட்டத்தைச் சரிபாருங்கள். ஆங்கிலக் கட்டுரைகளில் தமிழ்ச் சொற்களைத் தமிழ் எழுத்திலோ, ஒரே சீரான ஒலிபெயர்ப்பு முறையிலோ (எ.கா. ISO 15919) தாருங்கள்.

Manuscripts may be written in Tamil or English. The title, abstract and keywords must be given in both Tamil and English. Type Tamil in a Unicode font such as Latha, Vijaya, Noto Sans Tamil or Mukta Malar; text in older fonts such as Bamini or TSCII is converted to Unicode by the submission form, but please check the preview. In English articles, give Tamil words either in Tamil script or in one consistent transliteration (for example ISO 15919).

கட்டுரை அமைப்புManuscript structure

தலைப்புப் பக்கம் (தனிக் கோப்பாக; மதிப்பாய்வாளர்களுக்கு அனுப்பப்படாது): தமிழிலும் ஆங்கிலத்திலும் தலைப்பு, ஆசிரியர் பெயர்கள், பதவிகள், பணியிடங்கள், ORCID, தொடர்பு ஆசிரியரின் மின்னஞ்சல்.
ஆய்வுச் சுருக்கம்: தமிழிலும் ஆங்கிலத்திலும் 150–250 சொற்கள் – நோக்கம், மூலங்கள் அல்லது ஆய்வுமுறை, முதன்மைக் கண்டறிதல்கள், நிறைவு.
திறவுச் சொற்கள்: தமிழிலும் ஆங்கிலத்திலும் 4–6.
முதன்மை உரை: முன்னுரை, எண்ணிட்ட உட்தலைப்புகளின் கீழ்ப் பொருள், நிறைவுரை.
உறுதிமொழிகள்: நிதியுதவி, முரண்படும் நலன்கள், ஆசிரியர் பங்களிப்பு (பலர் எழுதிய கட்டுரைகளுக்கு), களஆய்வு அல்லது நேர்காணலுக்கான இசைவு, செயற்கை நுண்ணறிவுக் கருவிகளின் பயன்பாடு.
மேற்கோள்கள்: MLA 9ஆம் பதிப்பு முறையில், அல்லது கட்டுரை முழுவதும் சீராகப் பின்பற்றப்படும் வேறொரு ஏற்கப்பட்ட முறையில்.

Title page (a separate file, not sent to reviewers): title in Tamil and English, authors’ names, designations, affiliations, ORCID iDs and the corresponding author’s e-mail.
Abstract of 150–250 words, in Tamil and English: aim, sources or method, main findings and conclusion.
Keywords: 4–6, in Tamil and English.
Main text: introduction, the body under numbered headings, and conclusion.
Declarations: funding, conflicts of interest, author contributions (for co-authored papers), consent for fieldwork or interviews, and any use of AI tools.
References in MLA 9th edition style, or another established style used consistently throughout.

தமிழ் நூல்களைச் சுட்டுதல்Citing Tamil texts

செவ்வியல் நூல்களை நூற்பெயரும் பாடல் அல்லது நூற்பா எண்ணும் கொண்டு சுட்டுங்கள் – எ.கா. குறள் 391, புறநானூறு 192, தொல்காப்பியம், சொல். 1 – பயன்படுத்திய பதிப்பை (பதிப்பாசிரியர், பதிப்பகம், ஆண்டு) மேற்கோள் பட்டியலில் தாருங்கள். பாடல்களை அப்பதிப்பில் உள்ளவாறே, உங்கள் உரையிலிருந்து பிரித்துக் காட்டுங்கள். ஓர் உரையைப் பின்பற்றினால், உரையாசிரியரின் பெயரைக் குறிப்பிடுங்கள்.

Cite classical texts by the name of the work and the verse or sūtra number – for example Kuṟaḷ 391, Puṟanāṉūṟu 192, Tolkāppiyam, Col. 1 – and list the edition used (editor, publisher, year) in the references. Quote verses exactly as printed in that edition, set apart from your own text. When you follow a commentary (urai), name the commentator.

File: Microsoft Word (.docx).
Length: up to 8,000 words, including references and appendices.
Font: a Unicode Tamil font at 12 pt for Tamil; Times New Roman 12 pt for English.
Spacing and margins: 1.5 line spacing, 2.5 cm margins.
Tables and figures: numbered, captioned and cited in the text; images at 300 dpi, with their source and permission.

இரட்டை மறைவு மதிப்பாய்வுக்குத் தயாரித்தல்Preparing for double-blind review

முதன்மைக் கட்டுரையிலிருந்து பெயர்கள், பணியிடங்கள், நன்றியுரை, உங்களை அடையாளம் காட்டும் மேற்கோள்களை நீக்குங்கள்; கோப்பின் பண்புகளிலிருந்தும் ஆசிரியர் பெயரை நீக்குங்கள். உங்கள் முந்தைய ஆய்வுகளைப் படர்க்கையில் சுட்டுங்கள்.

Remove names, affiliations, acknowledgements and self-identifying references from the main manuscript, and clear the author name from the file properties. Cite your own earlier work in the third person.

அசல்தன்மையும் அறநெறியும்Originality and ethics

சமர்ப்பிக்கும் கட்டுரை அசலானதாகவும், வேறெங்கும் வெளியாகாததாகவும், வேறு இதழின் பரிசீலனையில் இல்லாததாகவும் இருக்க வேண்டும்; அனைத்து ஆசிரியர்களும் சமர்ப்பிப்புக்கு இசைய வேண்டும். ஒவ்வொரு கட்டுரையும் Plagiarism Checker X மூலம் ஒப்புமைச் சோதனைக்கு உட்படுத்தப்படும்; வழிகாட்டலாக, ஒப்புமைச் சுட்டெண் 15%-க்கு மேல் உள்ள கட்டுரைகள் திருப்பி அனுப்பப்படும் (காண்க: கருத்துத் திருட்டுத் தடுப்புக் கொள்கை). களஆய்வு, நேர்காணல், கருத்துக்கணிப்பு போன்ற மனிதர்களை உள்ளடக்கிய ஆய்வுகளுக்கு அவர்களின் தகவலறிந்த இசைவும், பிறர் வைத்திருக்கும் படங்கள், சுவடிகளுக்கு அனுமதியும் தேவை: ஆய்வு அறநெறிக் கொள்கை, வெளியீட்டு அறநெறி அறிக்கை ஆகியவற்றைப் படியுங்கள்.

Submissions must be original, unpublished and not under consideration elsewhere, and all authors must agree to the submission. Every manuscript is checked for similarity with Plagiarism Checker X; as a guide, papers with a similarity index above 15% are returned (see the plagiarism policy). Research with people – fieldwork, interviews, surveys – needs their informed consent, and images or manuscripts held by others need permission: read the research ethics policy and the publication ethics statement.

பதிப்புரிமையும் உரிமமும்Copyright and licence

பதிப்புரிமை ஆசிரியர்களிடமே இருக்கும்; வெளியிடுவதற்கான தனியுரிமையற்ற உரிமத்தை இதழுக்கு வழங்குவர். கட்டுரைகள் கிரியேட்டிவ் காமன்ஸ் அட்ரிபியூஷன் 4.0 பன்னாட்டு (CC BY 4.0) உரிமத்தில் வெளியாகும். ஏற்கப்பட்ட பின், கட்டுரைக் கண்காணிப்புப் பக்கத்திலேயே தொடர்பு ஆசிரியர் பதிப்புரிமை மற்றும் உரிம ஒப்பந்தத்தில் இணைய வழியில் கையொப்பமிடுவார். காண்க: பதிப்புரிமையும் உரிமமும்.

Authors keep the copyright and grant the journal a non-exclusive licence to publish. Articles are published under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0). After acceptance, the corresponding author signs the copyright and licence agreement online from the article tracking page. See Copyright and licensing.

திரும்பப் பெறுதல்Withdrawal

மதிப்பாய்வு தொடங்கும் முன், இதழாசிரியருக்கு எழுதிக் கட்டுரையைத் திரும்பப் பெறலாம். மதிப்பாய்வு தொடங்கிய பின்னரோ ஏற்கப்பட்ட பின்னரோ, எழுத்து மூலமான காரணமும் இதழாசிரியரின் ஒப்புதலும் தேவை. வெளியான கட்டுரைகள் நீக்கப்படுவதில்லை; திரும்பப் பெறுதல் கொள்கை படி திருத்தப்படலாம் அல்லது திரும்பப் பெறப்படலாம்.

Before peer review starts, authors may withdraw a manuscript by writing to the editor. After review has started, or once the paper is accepted, withdrawal needs a written reason and the editor’s approval. Published articles are not withdrawn; they may be corrected or retracted under the withdrawal policy.

கட்டணம்Fees

சமர்ப்பிப்புக் கட்டணம் இல்லை. கட்டுரை ஏற்கப்பட்ட பின், இணைய வெளியீடு, DOI பதிவு, அனைத்து ஆசிரியர்களுக்குமான மின்-சான்றிதழ்கள் அடங்கிய ₹1,000 கட்டுரை வெளியீட்டுக் கட்டணத்தை (APC) கட்டுரைக் கண்காணிப்புப் பக்கத்திலிருந்து UPI அல்லது வங்கிப் பரிமாற்றம் மூலம் செலுத்தலாம். அச்சுப் படி விருப்பத்தேர்வு. காண்க: கட்டுரை வெளியீட்டுக் கட்டணம்.

There is no submission fee. After acceptance, the article processing charge (APC) of ₹1,000 – online publication, DOI registration and e-certificates for all authors – is paid from the article tracking page by UPI or bank transfer. A printed copy is optional. See Article processing charges.
