Abstract

Although there are many studies on Sanga literature, Tamil lifestyle, Tamil culture, Tamil food, Tamil clothing, Tamil worship and rituals have been studied with a general focus. But only a few readings explain the readings about land, wealth, material, nature, industry, animal, wife's relationship and lifestyle of the people of the Sangam period based on beauty and lust. People of the Sangam period lived their live in a disciplinary system. Around two thousand years ago, the people of the Sangam period were well aware of the environment of the four planets. Also, the people of Kurinji land are called Kuravas, the people of Mullai land are called Ayar, the people of Maruta land are cultivators, the people of Neythal land are Bharatas and the people of Palai land are Einar. They have lived their life as per their land division. This research is a study that highlights the lifestyle of the Kurinji people who have been living in the sanga period and the social conditions and lifestyle identities related to them.

சங்க இலக்கியங்கள் குறித்த ஆய்வுகள் பலவாக இருந்தாலும், தமிழர் வாழ்வியல், தமிழர் பண்பாடு, தமிழர் உணவு, தமிழர் ஆடைகள், தமிழர் வழிபாடுகளும், சடங்குகளும் என்ற பொது நோக்குடன் ஆய்வுக்குட்படுத்தப்பட்டு வந்திருக்கின்றன. ஆனால் சில வாசிப்புகள் மட்டுமே சங்க கால மக்களின் நிலம், வளம், பொருள், இயற்கை, தொழில், விலங்கு, தலைவியின் உறவு மற்றும் அழகு புணர்ச்சி மற்றும் களவு புணர்ச்சி சார்ந்த வாழ்க்கை முறை குறித்த வாசிப்புகளை விளக்கி உரைக்கின்றன. சங்க கால மக்கள் தங்களின் வாழ்க்கை முறையை ஒரு ஒழுங்கு முறை கொண்டு வாழ்ந்து வந்துள்ளனர். ஏறத்தாழ இரண்டாயிரம் ஆண்டுகளுக்கு முன்பே சங்க கால மக்கள் நானிலங்களின் சுற்றுச் சூழலை நன்கு அறிந்தவர்களாகத் திகழ்ந்து வந்துள்ளனர். மேலும் குறிஞ்சி நிலத்தவர் குறவர் என்றும், முல்லை நிலத்தவர் ஆயர் என்றும், மருத நிலத்தவர் உழவர் என்றும் நெய்தல் நிலத்தவர் பரதவர் என்றும் பாலை நிலத்தவர் எயினர் என்றும் வகுத்து வாழ்ந்துள்ளனர். இவ்வாறாக வாழ்ந்து வந்துள்ள குறிஞ்சி மக்களின் வாழ்வியலும் அவற்றை குறித்த சமூகச் சூழல்களையும், வாழ்வியல் அடையாளங்களையும் எடுத்துரைக்கும் ஆய்வாக இவ்வாய்வு அமைக்கின்றது.
