Abstract

In the field of grammatical classification, the Tolkappiyam Porulathikaram of Tamil literature stands as an ancient and significant work. Within it, the concepts of Kaikkilai and Perunthinai, along with Kalavu and Karpu, are prominent in all its chapters. However, this grammatical structure is used in only a very few of the Agham poems. In the tradition of semantic grammar, the Kaikkilai and Perunthinai systems occupy a somewhat different position in the grammatical framework. Although Agham literature is primarily structured based on the five divisions of love Anbin Ainthinai, Kaikkilai has been categorized by Tolkappiyar as belonging to Akathinai.Comparing it with the love poems of Sangam literature helps in understanding the importance of the Akathinai (love theme).

தமிழ் இலக்கண மரபில் தொன்மையானதும் முதன்மையானதுமான தொல்காப்பியப் பொருளதிகாரம், தமிழர்தம் வாழ்வியலை அகம் மற்றும் புறம் என இரு பெரும் பிரிவுகளாகப் பகுத்து விளக்குகிறது. அகத்திணை மரபில் தொல்காப்பியர் ஏழு திணைகளை முன்மொழிகின்றார். அவற்றுள் 'கைக்கிளை' என்பது ஒருதலைக் காமம் எனப்படும் ஒருபக்க வேட்கையைச் சுட்டும் திணையாகும். இவ்வாய்வுத் தாள், கைக்கிளைக் கோட்பாட்டினைத் தொல்காப்பிய மெய்ப்பாட்டியல் மற்றும் நம்பியகப்பொருள் இலக்கண விதிகளின் ஊடாக ஆய்வு செய்கிறது. சங்க இலக்கியப் பாடல்களில் பயின்று வந்துள்ள கைக்கிளைத் துறைகளை, தலைமக்களின் உளவியல் மாற்றங்கள் மற்றும் மெய்ப்பாடுகளின் வெளிப்பாடுகளுடன் ஒப்பிட்டு இக்கட்டுரை ஆராய்கிறது. குறிப்பாக, காட்சி, ஐயம், துணிவு மற்றும் குறிப்பறிதல் ஆகிய நிலைகளில் தலைமக்களின் அக உணர்வுகள் உடலில் எத்தகைய மாற்றங்களை (மெய்ப்பாடுகளை) உருவாக்குகின்றன என்பதையும், காம உணர்வு முதிராத இளமைப் பருவத்தினரிடம் தோன்றும் கைக்கிளைக்கும், பருவமடைந்த பின் தோன்றும் குறிப்பறியா நிலைக்கும் உள்ள வேறுபாடுகளை இக்கட்டுரை விரிவாகப் பகுப்பாய்வு செய்கிறது. மேலும், கைக்கிளை எவ்வாறு அன்பின் ஐந்திணைக்குரிய தொடக்கப் புள்ளியாக அமைகிறது என்பதையும், பிற்கால இலக்கியங்களில் இக்கோட்பாடு அடைந்த பரிணாம வளர்ச்சியையும் இவ்வாய்வு நிறுவுகிறது.
