Abstract

Religions are organizations created to refine and guide human society. In this way, Christianity is a new religion that emerged from Judaism. This religion, which emerged after the birth of Jesus Christ, has grown greatly on a global scale over time. Westerners visited Tamil Nadu for commercial purposes. Seeing the poverty and simple condition of the people living here, some of them started providing social welfare services along with spiritual and religious services to these people. They provided necessary medical and educational services to the people. Many people, attracted by their kind approach and sacrifice, embraced Christianity. They introduced the worship of saints among them. Thus, the worship of Christian saints became widespread in South Tamil Nadu.
