வெளியான கட்டுரைக்கு அடிப்படையான மூலங்களையும் தரவுகளையும் வாசகர்கள் கண்டறியவும் சரிபார்க்கவும் அவற்றின் மேல் தொடர்ந்து ஆய்வு செய்யவும் இயல வேண்டும்.
Readers should be able to find the sources and data behind a published article, check them and build on them.
மேற்கோள் காட்டும் ஒவ்வொரு நூலின் பதிப்பையும் – பதிப்பாசிரியர், பதிப்பகம், ஆண்டு – பாடல், நூற்பா அல்லது பக்க எண்ணுடன் சுட்டுங்கள்; அப்போதுதான் வாசகர் அப்பகுதியைக் கண்டடைய இயலும். பதிப்புகளுக்கோ சுவடிகளுக்கோ இடையே பாடவேறுபாடு இருந்தால், நீங்கள் பின்பற்றும் பாடத்தைக் குறிப்பிடுங்கள்.
Cite the edition of every text you quote – editor, publisher and year – and the verse, sūtra or page number, so that readers can find the passage. When readings differ between editions or manuscripts, say which one you follow.
களஆய்வு, நேர்காணல், கருத்துக்கணிப்பு, பதிவுகள், உரைத் தொகுப்புகள் (corpus) அல்லது கணினிப் பகுப்பாய்வை அடிப்படையாகக் கொண்ட கட்டுரைகளில், அத்தரவுகள் எங்கே கிடைக்கும், அல்லது அவற்றை ஏன் பகிர இயலாது (எ.கா. தகவலாளர்களின் தனியுரிமையைக் காக்க) என்பதைக் கூறும் சிறு அறிக்கை இடம்பெற வேண்டும். இவ்வறிக்கை கட்டுரையுடன் வெளியிடப்படும்.
Articles based on fieldwork, interviews, surveys, recordings, text corpora or computational analysis include a short statement saying where the material can be found, or why it cannot be shared (for example to protect informants’ privacy). The statement is published with the article.
எழுத்துப்படிகள், வினாப்பட்டியல்கள், பதிவுகள் (பதிவு செய்யப்பட்டோரின் இசைவுடன்), சொற்பட்டியல்கள், உரைத் தொகுப்புகள், நிரல்கள் ஆகியவற்றை Zenodo, OSF, இணையக் காப்பகம் (Internet Archive) அல்லது நிறுவனக் களஞ்சியம் போன்ற பொதுக் களஞ்சியத்தில் வைத்து, மேற்கோள் பட்டியலில் சுட்டுமாறு ஆசிரியர்களை ஊக்குவிக்கிறோம்.
We encourage authors to deposit transcriptions, questionnaires, recordings (with the consent of those recorded), word lists, corpora and code in a public repository – for example Zenodo, OSF, the Internet Archive or an institutional repository – and to cite them in the reference list.
மதிப்பாய்வின்போது களக்குறிப்புகள், எழுத்துப்படிகள் அல்லது தரவுகளைப் பார்க்க இதழாசிரியர்களும் மதிப்பாய்வாளர்களும் கேட்கலாம். வெளியீட்டுக்குப் பின் ஐயங்கள் எழுந்தால், ஆசிரியர்கள் அவற்றை இதழாசிரியர்களுக்கு வழங்க வேண்டும்.
Editors and reviewers may ask to see field notes, transcriptions or data during review. If concerns are raised after publication, authors are expected to provide them to the editors.
தனிநபர் தரவுகளும் பதிவுகளும் இசைவுடன் மட்டுமே, தேவையான இடங்களில் அடையாளம் நீக்கப்பட்டுப் பகிரப்படும். ஒரு சமூகம் கட்டுப்பாட்டுக்கு உரியதாகக் கருதும் அறிவு அதன் இணக்கத்துடன் மட்டுமே பகிரப்படும்.
Personal data and recordings are shared only with consent, and anonymised where needed. Knowledge that a community regards as restricted is shared only with its agreement.
