Specifically, it explains with evidence how historical highlights such as the Kosar clan, the migration of the Vadugars, the Malaiyan king, and the heroic history of Valvil Ori are recorded in the Kuruntokai poems. This article also examines how Kuruntokai poems, which illustrate the social, political, and geographical conditions of that period, can be useful to historical researchers.
