Abstract
There is a very strong belief in the Siddha tradition that if one formally learns and deeply assimilates the magnificent, ancient art that has been traditionally revered and secretly preserved across generations, they can attain the state of Sivagnana (divine wisdom).
Samadhi is one of the practical processes of bringing the human body into complete stillness and control. In the Siddha educational tradition, Samadhi is considered the ultimate manifestation of merging with the Divine. Samadhi means standing in a state of absolute equilibrium with God through both soul and body; attaining this state of supreme bliss is referred to as Veeduperu (liberation) or Mukthi.
