ஆய்வுச்சுருக்கம்

ஒரு சமூகத்தின் உண்மையான வரலாறு, மண்ணின் மணம் கமழும் இடத்தில்தான் வேரூன்றிக் கிடக்கிறது.அந்த வகையில், கள்ளிக்காட்டின் வாழ்வியல் பதிவுகள் என்பது ஒருநிலப்பரப்பின் வரலாற்றை மட்டும் பதிவு செய்வதன்று. அந்நிலத்தில் வாழ்ந்த மக்களின் நம்பிக்கைகள், பழக்கவழக்கங்கள், உணவு, மருத்துவம், திருமணம், தொழில், மக்கள் மண்மீது கொண்ட பற்று, இறப்பு என அவர்களின் வாழ்வின் ஒவ்வொரு துடிப்பையும் பதிவு செய்யும் பண்பாட்டு ஆவணமாகத் திகழ்கிறது கவிஞர் வைரமுத்துவின் கள்ளிக்காட்டு இதிகாசம். நாகரீக அறிவியல் வளர்ச்சியில் மறைந்து போன கள்ளிக்காட்டு மக்களின் வாழ்வியல் மற்றும் சமூகப்பின்னணியையும் வெளிப்படுத்துவதே இவ்வாய்வின் முதன்மை நோக்கமாகும்.மக்களின் அன்றாட வாழ்வே அவர்களின் பண்பாட்டின் கண்ணாடி என்பதை உணர்த்தும் வகையில், அவர்களிடையே நிலவிய நம்பிக்கைகள் மற்றும் பழக்கவழக்கங்கள் எவ்வாறு தலைமுறை தலைமுறையாகக் கடத்தப்பட்டன என்பதும், இயற்கையோடு இயைந்த அவர்களின் வாழ்வியல் அறிவின் ஆழத்தைப் புலப்படுத்துவதோடு, அவர்கள் வாழ்வில் பதிந்திருக்கும் பண்பாட்டு நினைவுகள் அழிவதில்லை என்பதையும் உணர்த்துகிறது. மண்ணோடு வாழ்ந்த மக்களின் வாழ்க்கை மறக்கப்படும்போது, ஒரு தலைமுறையின் நினைவு மறைகிறது. அந்த வகையில், கள்ளிக்காட்டு மக்களின் வாழ்வியல் பதிவுகள், கடந்த காலத்தைப் பேசும் ஆவணமாக மட்டுமல்லாமல், மரபின் வேர்களை எதிர்காலத் தலைமுறையோடு இணைக்கும் பண்பாட்டுப் பாலமாகவும் இவ்வாய்வு விளங்குகிறது.

Abstract

The true history of a society is rooted in the fragrance of the soil. In that way, the records of the life of the people of Kallikattu... record only the history of a land and record every pulse of their life, including their beliefs, customs, food, medicine, marriage, professions, attachment to the soil, and death. The main purpose of this study is to reveal the life and social background of the people of Kallikattu, which have disappeared in the development of civilization and science, in a way that shows that the life of the people is the mirror of their culture. How the beliefs and customs that existed among them were passed down from generation to generation...in harmony with nature...not only reveals the depth of their knowledge of life, but also shows that the cultural memories embedded in their lives do not disappear. When the lives of people who lived with the soil are forgotten, the memory of a generation disappears. In that way, the life records of the people of Kallikattu are not only a document that speaks of the past. This study also serves as a cultural bridge that connects the roots of tradition with future generations.
