ஆய்வுச்சுருக்கம்

கவிமணி தேசிக விநாயகம் பிள்ளையின் 'குழந்தைச்செல்வம்' கவிதைத் தொகுப்பில் இயற்கை மற்றும் விலங்கினங்கள் மனிதர்களைப் போலப் பேசும் (Personification) மற்றும் இயங்கும் தன்மையுடன் மிக அழகாகச் சித்தரிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன. குழந்தைகளைக் கவரும் வகையில் அவர் கையாண்டுள்ள உயிரினங்களின் சிறப்புகள் பின்வரும் தன்மையில் அமைகின்றன.அவையாவன, பசுவும் கன்றும் என்ற இயற்கை வாழ்வின் உன்னதத்தை உணர்த்துகின்றன.அணில் குட்டியில் அணிலின் ஓட்டமும், அதன் வால் அழகும், அது கொய்யாப்பழத்தைக் கொறித்துத் தின்னும் பாங்கும் குழந்தைகளிடம் நகைச்சுவையையும் இயற்கை ஆர்வத்தையும் தூண்டும் வகையில் பாடப்பட்டுள்ளது.நாய்க்குட்டி பாடலில் வீட்டின் காவல் விலங்கான நாயின் நன்றியுணர்வையும், குழந்தைகளோடு அது விளையாடும் பாசப் பிணைப்பையும் எளிய அறநெறிகளோடு கவிமணி விவரித்துள்ளார்.பறவைகளின் உரையாடல் பகுதியில் காகம், குருவி போன்ற எளிய பறவைகள் தங்களுக்குள் பேசிக் கொள்வது போன்றும், குழந்தைகளுக்கு அறிவுரை கூறுவது போன்றும் அமைந்த பாடல்கள், பறவைகள் மீதான அன்பை வளர்க்கின்றன.கவிமணியின் இத்தகைய தனித்துவமான எழுத்து நடை, குழந்தைப் பருவத்திலேயே விலங்குகள் மற்றும் இயற்கையின் மீதான பரிவையும், அறநெறி சார்ந்த சிந்தனைகளையும் ஆழமாக விதைக்கிறது.

Abstract

In Kavimani Desika Vinayagam Pillai’s poetry collection Kuzhandaichelvam, nature and animals are portrayed vividly through personification, often speaking and behaving like human beings. The distinctive representation of animals in his poems is designed to attract children and cultivate their interest in the natural world. The poems Cow and Calf (Pasuvum Kanrum) convey the nobility and harmony of rural life and the bond between humans and animals. In The Little Squirrel (Anil Kutti), the squirrel’s playful movements, beautiful tail, and manner of nibbling guava are depicted humorously, stimulating children’s curiosity and appreciation of nature. In The Puppy (Naikkutti), Kavimani portrays the dog’s loyalty and its affectionate relationship with children while conveying simple moral values. In the section The Conversation of Birds, familiar birds such as the crow and sparrow are presented as engaging in conversations with one another and offering advice to children, thereby fostering love and compassion towards birds. Through this distinctive literary style, Kavimani effectively instils in children, from an early age, a sense of compassion towards animals and nature, along with moral and ethical values.
