Globalization and liberalization policies have paved the way for computers, websites, and the internet to be easily accessible even to rural students. Information technology is not merely a single technology; it is a blend of several technologies such as computer networks, the internet, satellites, hardware, software, and media. This Information and Communication Technology (ICT) simplifies and enriches the teaching and learning environment in many dimensions.
