Draft Report on Educational Reforms 2026: From Kindergarten to Doctoral Research – A Socio-Legal Study and Solution

The Indian educational environment of the twenty-first century is trapped in a major contradiction. On one hand, there is an intense drive to become a superpower in the global knowledge economy; on the other, the very foundation of education is crumbling under the cruel grip of commercialization. The current education system has turned students into unskilled individuals holding nothing more than "empty cardboard" (degrees) and teachers into economically exploited laborers. This study deeply explores the structural issues within the Indian education system, spanning from kindergarten to doctoral research. Specifically, it analyzes financial management irregularities in private institutions, the exploitation of teacher salaries, supervisor dominance in doctoral studies, and the status of education under the Consumer Protection Act from a socio-legal perspective. Through a comparative analysis of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and Tamil Nadu’s State Education Policy (SEP) 2025, this research aims to propose necessary legal solutions to improve the quality of education and establish equity.
