Literature endures across time not just through its underlying ideas, but through its unique modes of expression—an aesthetic found in how content is conveyed to evoke genuine emotion rather than in the subject matter itself. Excellent literary style relies on the harmonious integration of all expressive techniques across all genres, as no single element can be isolated to account for a work's artistic elegance. Applying this principle, the article analyzes the language style of the poet Yathiri, who achieves his poetic effect not through an artificially stylized tone, but by skillfully transforming direct everyday speech into compelling poetry.
