Abstract

The benefits (significations/results) received during a specific Dasha period depend on the ruling planet of that Dasha and its connection to the house of signification (Karaka Bhava). Every Dasha period does not deliver all the significations promised in the natal chart. It is the relationship between the Dasha lord and the significator house that determines whether a specific signification will yield results during that Dasha period. This research paper synthesizes information from traditional Vedic astrological texts and modern analytical insights to explain the importance of houses in predicting Dasha results, alongside modern approaches based on Argala and Significators (Soochakar).
