Abstract
Tamil literature preserves knowledge and cultural ideas related to social life, politics, nature, medicine, warfare, and construction. The Yuddha Kandam of Kambaramayanam contains episodes concerning planning, military organization, intelligence, diplomacy, medicine, and aerial travel. This article studies selected passages through qualitative textual interpretation. It argues that these episodes illuminate literary representations of knowledge and technological imagination, while cautioning against treating epic descriptions as direct evidence of modern scientific inventions.
