Abstract

This empirical study explores the impact of Sudarshan Kriya Yoga (SKY) on stress reduction and quality of life among transgender individuals. Using a pre-test/post-test control group design, 60 participants were studied over a 6-week intervention. Validated tools (PSS and WHOQOL-BREF) were employed to collect data. Findings revealed a statistically significant reduction in perceived stress and an overall improvement in quality of life across all four domains in the experimental group. The study establishes SKY as a powerful, holistic approach to enhancing wellness in marginalized gender communities.
