Sri Lankan tea plantation workers are among those who have gone to many countries to survive the famine due to poverty. If they want to harvest tea on a new hill, they worship the tea plant and sing a beautiful song to get more tea. After bathing a woman who has reached puberty, the male attendant makes her sit inside the house. They also believe that Rodhamuni will attack the woman who has reached puberty. The wedding is held on an auspicious day and time. A congratulatory song is sung during the wedding. Ayyanar Swami is worshipped as a deity. Women offer Pongal to Ayyanar and sing the song Kummi and rejoice. When someone in the ethnic group dies, they tie a white flag in front of the house to mark the deceased. The Oppari song is sung on the occasion of death. This research article is intended to describe such unique life rituals.
