Abstract
There are several key reasons for conducting research in the field of agricultural science. This research is particularly essential to ensure food security, production efficiency, and environmental sustainability. It promotes innovations such as soil health, crop rotation, and precision agriculture to increase productivity. It also encourages improvements in pest control and water management. By providing solutions to challenges like climate change and biodiversity conservation, it fosters sustainable agriculture.
It is necessary to clearly explain the use of high-yield seed varieties, synthetic fertilizers, and pesticides, as well as environmental sciences such as weather forecasting and soil testing. Such research integrates traditional farming with scientific methods to ensure food security, strengthening the backbone of the nation's economic growth.
In agricultural science, science and technology serve as key tools to promote sustainable development; they help increase production, use resources economically, and protect the environment. Precision agriculture uses Artificial Intelligence (AI) and drones to monitor soil, weather, and crop health. This reduces costs by utilizing water, fertilizers, and pesticides in precise amounts, while simultaneously increasing yields.
