Literature created by humans has a great impact on society. Literature is a reflection of humans. It also highlights the beliefs, customs, cultures, political and life problems of the people and also tells philosophies for future generations. Internal and external factors of the people lifestyle are two inseparable parts of literature. The epic poem called Iliad, which originated in Greece, highlights the life of the ancient Greek people. Some of the events and characters in this epic are consistent with the epic poem Mahabharata, which originated in India. This research article is to compare the events in two famous literatures in world literature, the Iliad and the Mahabharata.
