தமிழ்மணம்: பல்துறைப் பன்னாட்டுத் தமிழாய்விதழ்Tamilmanam: a multidisciplinary international journal of Tamil studies

தமிழ் மொழி, இலக்கியம், பண்பாடு பற்றிய ஆய்வுகளைத் தமிழிலும் ஆங்கிலத்திலும் உலக வாசகர்களிடம் கொண்டு சேர்க்கும் நோக்குடன் அக்டோபர் 2024 முதல் மாதந்தோறும் வெளிவருகிறது தமிழ்மணம். இதழின் தொடக்கம், நோக்கம், இன்றைய நடைமுறை பற்றி இப்பக்கம் விளக்குகிறது.

Since October 2024 Tamilmanam has appeared every month, bringing research on Tamil language, literature and culture to readers in Tamil and English. This page tells how the journal began, what it aims to do and how it works today.

தொடக்கம்Beginnings

பொள்ளாச்சி நல்லமுத்து கவுண்டர் மகாலிங்கம் கல்லூரியின் (தன்னாட்சி) நூலகத் துறை இவ்விதழைத் தொடங்கியது. முதல் இதழ் (தொகுதி 1, இதழ் 1) அக்டோபர் 2024 இல் வெளியானது. இணையப் பதிப்புக்கு e-ISSN 3049-0723, அச்சுப் பதிப்புக்கு p-ISSN 3107-7781 என்ற எண்கள் வழங்கப்பட்டுள்ளன.

The journal was started by the Department of Library of Nallamuthu Gounder Mahalingam College (Autonomous), Pollachi. The first issue (Volume 1, Issue 1) appeared in October 2024. The online edition carries e-ISSN 3049-0723 and the print edition p-ISSN 3107-7781.

நோக்கம்What the journal aims to do

தமிழாய்வுகளை உலகெங்கும் உள்ள வாசகர்கள் கட்டணமின்றிப் படிக்கும்படி திறந்த அணுகலில் வெளியிடுதல்.
தமிழில் எழுதப்படும் ஆய்வுகளும் பன்னாட்டுத் தரவுத்தளங்களில் கண்டடையப்படும்படி, ஒவ்வொரு கட்டுரைக்கும் ஆங்கிலத் தலைப்பு, ஆய்வுச் சுருக்கம், திறவுச் சொற்கள், DOI வழங்குதல்.
இலக்கியம், இலக்கணம், மொழியியல், சமயம், நாட்டுப்புறவியல், தொல்லியல், கணினித் தமிழ், ஊடகம் எனப் பல துறைகளையும் இணைக்கும் பல்துறை ஆய்வுகளுக்கு இடமளித்தல்.

To publish Tamil studies open access, so that readers anywhere can read them free of charge.
To make research written in Tamil findable in international databases, by giving every article an English title, abstract and keywords and a DOI.
To make room for multidisciplinary work that brings together literature, grammar, linguistics, religion, folklore, archaeology, Tamil computing and media.

இன்றைய நடைமுறைHow the journal works today

கட்டுரைகள் இரட்டை மறைவு முறையில் குறைந்தது இருவரால் மதிப்பாய்வு செய்யப்படுகின்றன; COPE வழிகாட்டுதல்களின்படி வெளியீட்டு அறநெறி பின்பற்றப்படுகிறது; வெளியான கட்டுரைகள் CC BY 4.0 உரிமத்தில் கிடைக்கின்றன. சமர்ப்பிப்புக் கட்டணம் இல்லை; கட்டுரை ஏற்கப்பட்ட பின் ₹1,000 வெளியீட்டுக் கட்டணம் பெறப்படுகிறது. விவரங்கள்: மதிப்பாய்வு முறை, வெளியீட்டு அறநெறி, கட்டணம்.

Manuscripts are reviewed double-blind by at least two reviewers; publication ethics follow COPE guidance; published articles are available under CC BY 4.0. There is no submission fee; an article processing charge of ₹1,000 is asked for after acceptance. See the peer review process, publication ethics and fees.

இதழ்களும் கட்டுரைகளும்Issues and articles

வழக்கமான மாத இதழ்களுடன், பிற கல்லூரிகளின் தமிழ்த் துறைகளுடனும் ஆய்வு மையங்களுடனும் இணைந்து கருப்பொருள் சார்ந்த சிறப்பிதழ்களும் வெளிவருகின்றன. அனைத்து இதழ்களையும் இதழ்க் காப்பகத்தில் காணலாம்.

Besides the regular monthly issues, the journal publishes themed special issues with Tamil departments of other colleges and with research centres. Every issue is listed in the archive.
